A large number of combinations are possible! Each ceramic base can be paired with the tabletop of your choice; the glass tabletop for transparency and lightness, the responsible tabletop made from recycled badminton shuttlecocks for authenticity.

CERAMICS, AN ANCESTRAL CRAFT

To create the Charlotte tables, we collaborated with one of the best ceramic workshops in Coimbra. Portugal was the obvious choice, given its exceptional craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Our new responsible and innovative platform

At Cosin we believe in beautiful pieces made from waste by giving them a second life.

Badminton in France generates over 40 tons of waste each year. Our eco-friendly tabletops are made from recycled badminton shuttlecocks by a French workshop specializing in this craft. This innovative material blends perfectly with ceramic. The visual effect is reminiscent of a mineral at first glance. Each tabletop is unique and one-of-a-kind.

How is it made? The shuttlecocks are collected from committed clubs all over France. Next comes the grinding process; they are ground very finely into chips of about 4mm. Finally, the chips are mixed with chalk, water, and glue—the magic formula for creating these eco-friendly racket surfaces. The material is composed of 80% recycled badminton shuttlecocks.
